We partnered with Tread + Miller to capture some of South Africa’s most stylish individuals attending SA Fashion Week in Johannesburg for the SS20 season. Sandton City Mall hosted the iconic event, showcasing the incredible talent on offer. SA Fashion week is a chance to explore one’s person style. Some of our favourite fashion-forward individuals put together fashion-week ready looks in collaboration with the sophisticated Tread + Miller and we made sure to capture their interpretation.
Cedric Nzaka is the talent behind the well known “Everydaypeoplestories”. This creator and storyteller captures some of the most authentic and recognisable portraits of individuals all over the country. Not only is Cedric a talented photographer, but he is also the co-founder of Concept 254. Cedric styled the ___ in one of the most on-trend styles of the moment; socks and sandals! He paired the black ___ with a deep red sole with black socks, softening the socks and sandals combination by matching the black palettes. His ___ added the perfect edge to a refined, suited look.
Cedric also styled the sophisticated ___ with tassel details in a classic, monochrome look. Paired with a classic white polar neck and slim-leg pants, the ___ completed the look with a sophisticated ease
Cherne’ Africa is an iconic South African creator, known for her powerful, refined style. The ___ perfectly compliment the edgy elegance Cherne’ exudes through her fashion choices. Cherne’ paired the metallic finish of the chunky swoop heals with a pistachio green, silk power suit and oversized cream bag. The ___ added an extra sense of retro glamour to the re-envisioned power suit style.
Everyone’s favourite source of travel content and trend forecasts, Styled Destination, is headed by the ever so stylish, Tina Prokas. Known for her well put together looks, Tina paired the ____ with an all-black statement outfit. The futuristic fit included a leather blazer-style dress, sleek shades and a structured handbag. The ___ is a classic staple; sleek in silhouette but edgy in in snakeskin imprint.
Tash Toefy, one half of the photography and media duo Half & Halve, is seen here with a classic custom checkered suit. Known for his more edgy styles Tash pairs the fitted suit with a silver chain and a pair of vogue shades giving the look that street style aesthetic that he brings to most of his outfits. He finishes the millennial businessman look off with a classic pair of ______
Shak Toefy, the second half of the duo gives us a more vintage look wearing a, much like his counterpart, a custom suit. The maroon corduroy suit is double-breasted giving it a more boxy look. To complement this vintage fit he pairs it with a classic poor boy hat and a similar boxy pair of arnett shades. He then also finishes off the look with the _____
