Woolworths first opened its doors to the South African Public in 1931 and since then has been at the forefront of retail. Woolworths was; one of the first companies to offer employee benefits, a part of the early adopters of modern technology into retail and very importantly was the first South African retailer to introduce sell by dates.
In their new campaign Woolworths wanted to focus on some of the firsts that parents experience with their children. From their babies' first words to their first giggle, parents will always remember their children's firsts and cherish those memories with them forever. Woolworths wanted to celebrate this experience and those memories with the families that shop with them through this campaign and did so by having pieces to go with each first.
